Hostelavie Varanasi

I stayed at Hostelavie for a few nights and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was highly professional and the Check-In and Check-Out process was smooth. The rooms were generally clean and the hotel had a great location. The courtyard area was beautifully decorated and had a nice vibe. I particularly loved the room that opened into this area. The rooftop space also offered a stunning view of the Ganges and the town. The staff was friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast and the sunrise boat tour along the river were highlights of my stay. I would definitely stay at Hostelavie again.

The location of the hostel is perfect, as it is close to the Ghatt, making it convenient for tourists to visit this iconic attraction. the hostel is situated at the ground floor, which is a great advantage for those who prefer easy access to their accommodation. There are also nice restaurants within a 5-10 minutes walking distance, allowing guests to explore the local culinary scene.

One drawback mentioned by previous guests is the poor road accessibility to the hostel, which may cause difficulties in finding the place.

I stayed at Hostelavie for 3 nights during my trip to India. The clean, western-style hostel exceeded my expectations in many ways. Unlike previous guesthouses I stayed at, the wifi actually worked in the rooms and it was fast! The rooftop view was perfect for watching the sunrise, and they even served dinner up there. The hostel also offered a fixed price for sunset/sunrise boat rides, so no need to haggle with boatmen. The locality was good and the included breakfast was a great value. The common areas at the ground floor and the terrace were awesome for meeting other travelers. The colorful decor and layout gave the hostel a fresh and new look.

We had a pleasant stay at Hostelavie. the staff were extremely helpful and courteous, and the ambience of the hostel was calming and mesmerizing. We also had the chance to make friends from Spain during our stay. Despite the slightly inconvenient location on small congested lanes, the overall experience was great and well worth the price.

I recently stayed at Hostelavie in Varanasi for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The hostel is beautifully designed with plenty of spaces to relax and unwind after exploring the bustling old town. One of my favorite spots was the rooftop, where I could enjoy stunning sunsets. The amenities were excellent, including the free laundry facilities which were a huge bonus. The 4-bed dorm I stayed in was clean and quiet, and although it was a bit cold, the staff provided us with extra blankets to keep warm. The breakfast provided was decent and enough to fuel up for the day. a lovely boutique-style hostel with friendly and helpful staff.

Inconvenient location, far from the main ghat area and requires a long and hot walk to reach. Difficult to find and not accessible by tuk-tuk, only reachable by walking.

The common areas were well-designed and independent, giving each space its own unique vibe. The hostel was spacious and had ample indoor activities to keep us entertained. Great value for money, with clean and comfortable rooms. The location of Hostelavie is unbeatable, near the Ganga river and close to Assi Ghat. Plus, there are nice restaurants within walking distance. The staff treated me very well.

The breakfast offerings could be improved, as the sandwich filled with yogurt and vegetables, bowl of fruit, and oreo were not to my taste.

My recent stay at Hostelavie in Varanasi was amazing. The location couldn't be better, just a 5-minute walk to the Ganges. The hostel itself wasnice and neat, with a cheerful atmosphere and a rooftop terrace to relax on. The staff, especially Atul, were helpful and knowledgeable, assisting with bookings and recommending great trips. I also loved that they had a kitchen to use and a restaurant-like service.
